Gardening with kids has become a true passion of mine! There’s something so magical about watching little hands dig into the soil, plucking out weird creatures, and deciding what seeds to plant next. Whether it’s encouraging my own kids to help me grow vegetables or getting messy with crafts that celebrate nature, I find joy in every moment spent outdoors. Together, we’re discovering the thrill of nurturing plants and learning about the environment, one sun-kissed afternoon at a time. Plus, I always appreciate when our strawberry patches yield enough for me to “taste test” right from the garden.
When I’m not digging away in the dirt, you can usually find me whipping up something delicious in the kitchen— I’m kind of a baking fan, which really goes hand in hand with gardening if you ask me! I love experimenting with fresh herbs and produce from our little patch. On weekends, I often turn into a wannabe florist, crafting bouquets out of the seasonal blooms we grow. I also never miss an opportunity to curl up with a good book or dive headfirst into an arts and crafts project (let’s just say my art supplies don’t stand a chance!). Life is all about balance, right? So whether it’s cultivating my garden or cultivating my creativity, I’m always finding ways to blend my passions!
